Work alongside a compassionate, collaborative team in a modern department featuring two linear accelerators and cutting-edge techniques such as IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and advanced 3D treatments. Gain experience with a diverse patient population—averaging 30-45 patients daily—and take pride in contributing to comprehensive cancer care. With support from an on-site Chief RT, and opportunities to guide RT students rotating through the department, you’ll deepen your knowledge in a supportive setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
- No weekends or call required
- Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Responsibilities:
- Deliver ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy using Varian TrueBeam linacs and department-specific equipment.
- Administer complex therapy plans encompassing all advanced treatment modalities.
- Accurately chart patient treatments in EPIC and Aria EMR systems.
- Uphold departmental safety, infection control, and patient care standards.
- Maintain effective communication with providers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience (first-time travelers welcome!)
- ARRT (T) certification and active BLS required
- Strong skills in ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy
- Experience with advanced modalities: IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, 3D
