In this dynamic travel role, you’ll work within a collaborative department featuring advanced oncology technology, including two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and expertise in IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatments. Support from an experienced Chief RT, along with departmental exposure to a variety of cancer diagnoses and complex patient cases, means you’ll sharpen your clinical skills and gain valuable experience working with cutting-edge radiation oncology methods and treatment planning (EMR platforms: EPIC and Aria).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ARRT (T) certification required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience (first-time travelers welcome)
  • Proficiency in ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy
  • Varian TrueBeam linac experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted radiation treatments according to individualized treatment plans
  • Accurately follow protocols for IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D therapies
  • Employ excellent patient care with 30-45 daily patients spanning all diagnoses
  • Engage as a key member within a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain concise and precise EMR documentation (EPIC/Aria)

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • No weekends or call
  • 75% holiday participation
