Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Radiation Therapist in New York State
• Prior experience operating linear accelerators and associated treatment planning systems
• Strong patient communication and support skills
• Ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists
• Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize individualized care plans
• Operate and maintain sophisticated radiation equipment and adhere to quality assurance protocols
• Provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures, and address patient concerns
• Document treatments and maintain detailed patient records following regulatory guidelines
