Schedule & Hours:
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday between 8 am–7 pm (shift hours vary weekly)
- Weekends required as needed
- On-call rotation participation
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy program required
- ARRT Radiation Therapy certification (ARRT-T) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ARC-BLS or BLS-I also accepted)
- Two years of recent experience in Radiation Therapy strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to independently treat and simulate patients of diverse ages
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise radiation therapy per physician specifications
- Operate advanced radiation equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform quality control monitoring and daily warm-up procedures
- Accurately document treatments in EMR
- Educate patients and families on treatments and expected side effects
- Mentor and evaluate radiation therapy students
- Monitor patient safety, utilizing universal precautions and safety badges
- Participate in team tasks, on-call rotation, and ongoing professional development
