Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Current ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy)
- State licensure as required
- Minimum of one year experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred
- Proficiency with modern linear accelerators and oncology information systems
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician instructions and protocols
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper calibration and function
- Monitor patient responses and well-being throughout the treatment process
- Document treatment records and patient information with a high level of accuracy
- Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff
- Maintain a safe environment in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards
