Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program
• Current registry with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Strong technical knowledge in the operation of linear accelerators and related radiation therapy equipment
• Solid understanding of radiation safety practices and patient care protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered service
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous clinical experience in a hospital or cancer center strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately calibrate and operate radiation therapy equipment, ensuring patient and staff safety at all times
• Educate patients about treatment procedures and provide support throughout their course of care
• Maintain detailed, accurate treatment records using electronic documentation systems
• Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patients for reactions and communicate changes or concerns to the clinical team promptly
