Required Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position (duration discussed during interview)

Qualifications:

• Active RT(T) certification through ARRT
• Valid Connecticut State radiographer license
• At least 1.5 years of experience working as a registered Radiation Therapist

Preferred Skills:

• Two or more years of radiation therapy experience
• Hands-on experience with Varian equipment, especially Varian Aria
• Familiarity with Align RT surface motion technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, accurate radiation treatment per prescribed protocols
• Perform patient simulation, imaging, and immobilization for ideal treatment positioning
• Operate and maintain Varian linear accelerator systems with on-board imaging
• Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists for optimal patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, schedules, and expectations
• Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in routine quality assurance tasks
