Travel Radiation Therapist | Fairport, New York

Working in Fairport will strengthen your résumé, especially as you gain hands-on experience with both Ethos and Varian radiation therapy equipment. You'll be at the forefront of patient care, learning from diverse leadership styles and contributing to a reputable Cancer Services/Oncology department.

Schedule:

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (8-hour day shifts, shift may vary based on department needs)
• Floating required to all Radiation Oncology locations as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Current NYS Radiologic Technologists Therapy License
• ARRT (T), BLS certification, and experience in Adult Acute Care settings
• Solid background using Ethos or Varian machines preferred
• Proficiency in EPIC Electronic Medical Record
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, punctuality, and a collaborative approach
• Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver precision external beam therapy and IMRT
• Perform tumor localization, dose calculation, and block cutting
• Utilize CBCT/kV/mV imaging, compensation filters, custom molds/shields, and portal cases
• Apply patient isolation precautions and adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Support rapid response and code teams when required
