Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in delivering radiation therapy treatments in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patient care
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately interpret and follow physician orders and treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed radiation treatments using current technology and upholding precise protocols
- Monitor patient responses and provide compassionate support throughout their treatment regimen
- Operate and maintain linear accelerators and related equipment, ensuring correct calibration and safety standards
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning them accurately, and maintaining clear records
- Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to ensure optimal treatment outcomes
- Uphold strict safety and quality regulations to protect patients, staff, and self
