Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid credentials as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT certification required)
• Active state license for Radiation Therapy
• Experience operating linear accelerators and related radiation oncology equipment
• Thorough understanding of treatment planning concepts and safety protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively with the oncology team, including physicians, dosimetrists, and nurses
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to excellent patient care and communication

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer daily radiation treatments per physician instructions and prescribed dosage/treatment plans
• Prepare and position patients accurately for each session, ensuring comfort and safety
• Monitor equipment performance and report operational concerns to biomedical engineering or leadership
• Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and document treatment delivery
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, addressing questions and concerns in a supportive manner
• Adhere closely to all clinical protocols, safety guidelines, and facility policies
• Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize patient outcomes throughout the course of therapy
