Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
  • Current state licensure as required
  • Minimum of one year experience in a radiation therapy setting preferred
  • Proficient in operating linear accelerators and treatment planning systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to offer supportive patient care
  • Strong attention to accuracy and adherence to safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver precise radiation treatments according to physician’s orders and established protocols
  • Accurately position patients and utilize immobilization devices
  • Monitor patient during therapy, observe for any unusual reactions, and report to medical staff as necessary
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all treatments administered
  • Support the multidisciplinary team by ensuring clear communication and patient education
  • Regularly inspect, operate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety standards
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
