Radiation Oncology Tech

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Oncology Tech for temporary vacation coverage. This position will provide support to the radiation oncology team and assist with daily clinical operations, patient preparation, treatment workflows, and maintaining a safe, efficient care environment.

Coverage Dates: September 16, 2026 – October 2, 2026

Responsibilities:

Assist with radiation oncology procedures and daily clinical operations.
Prepare and position patients for treatment while ensuring comfort and safety.
Support radiation therapy workflows according to established protocols.
Verify patient information and treatment requirements prior to procedures.
Collaborate with radiation therapists, medical physicists, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical safety standards.
Provide compassionate support to oncology patients.
Follow HIPAA, radiation safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in radiation oncology, radiation therapy, oncology, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
Knowledge of radiation safety practices and oncology workflows.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
