• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid state licensure as a Radiation Therapist
• Proven experience operating LINAC and other radiation therapy equipment
• Strong familiarity with treatment planning systems and safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain procedures to patients
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards

Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Administer therapeutic doses of radiation as prescribed by oncologists
• Accurately position patients and operate equipment for optimal treatment delivery
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout the course of therapy
• Document treatment details, patient responses, and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with medical physicists and dosimetrists on treatment plans and adjustments
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure equipment functions safely and accurately
• Educate patients and their families on the treatment process and expected outcomes
• Proactively identify and report any issues related to safety, equipment, or patient care
