Key Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy
• Demonstrated experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or outpatient clinical environment
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proficiency in operating linear accelerators and related radiation therapy equipment
• Strong communication skills for interacting empathetically with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams
• Excellent attention to detail for following precise treatment protocols and maintaining accurate documentation

Schedule:

• Full-time hours within the contract period
• Weekday shifts; flexibility may be required to support patient scheduling needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients as part of their cancer treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure accurate, individualized care
• Maintain detailed, up-to-date patient treatment records
• Uphold strict safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Support patient education, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to ease anxiety and promote understanding
• Take part in quality assurance and continuing education activities as directed
