Schedule:

• Day shifts, Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 7:00pm (shift hours vary weekly)
• Weekend shifts as needed
• Participation in on-call rotation

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification (ARRT-T)
• BLS certification (including ARC-BLS or BLS Instructor accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy preferred
• Demonstrated competency in radiation treatment/simulation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise, safe radiation therapy in accordance with physician and physicist guidance
• Conduct patient simulation and set-up without error, including educational support for patients and families
• Utilize radiation safety principles and universal precautions at all times
• Document patient care thoroughly in the Electronic Medical Record system
• Participate in quality control monitoring and complete daily warm-up procedures
• Mentor and evaluate students as a clinical instructor for RTT and RTR learners
• Engage in department-wide process improvements and additional assigned duties
