Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT)
- Minimum of one year clinical experience in radiation therapy
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with linear accelerators and treatment planning systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Accurately deliver radiation treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists
- Prepare and position patients for each treatment, maintaining comfort and safety
- Operate radiation equipment and ensure machines are functioning according to guidelines
- Monitor patients’ conditions during and after procedures, reporting concerns promptly
- Maintain meticulous treatment records and documentation in compliance with regulations
