• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)

• Proficient in treatment planning, simulation, and setup verification
• Strong understanding of safety procedures, radiation physics, and oncology protocols
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with oncologists, physicists, and the multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation treatment to patients according to physician’s instructions and departmental protocols
• Accurately position patients and operate treatment equipment with a focus on safety and comfort
• Collaborate with dosimetrists and medical physicists to ensure accurate treatment delivery
• Monitor patient reactions, meticulously document treatments, and report any changes or concerns
• Participate in patient education, answering questions to ease anxiety and provide clear instructions
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies at all times
• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and update EMR systems as required
