Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift (M-F), between 8am–7pm, hours vary weekly
  • Weekends as needed
  • On-call rotation participation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer precise radiation therapy according to oncologist and physicist directives
  • Perform patient assessments, simulate treatment fields, and educate patients/families
  • Document treatments and procedures thoroughly in EMR system
  • Practice strict radiation safety protocols and universal precautions
  • Participate in quality control monitoring and daily equipment checks
  • Mentor and evaluate RTT and RTR students during clinical instruction
  • Communicate professionally and proactively about treatment changes and observations
  • Support departmental collaboration by performing additional tasks as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
  • ARRT Radiation Therapy certification, BLS (or equivalent) current
  • Two years’ experience in Radiation Therapy preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in treating/simulating patients of varying ages
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and safety skills
