Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency with linear accelerators and radiation oncology equipment
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
• Ability to interpret and implement physician treatment plans accurately
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist

Schedule:

• Full-time hours, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients according to physician protocols
• Maintain precise documentation of treatment sessions and patient responses
• Operate, calibrate, and perform quality assurance on therapy equipment
• Monitor patients during treatments, providing support and responding to clinical concerns
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal care
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards for patients and staff
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and aftercare
