Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Active state license (or eligibility), as required
• Demonstrated experience with linear accelerators and advanced radiation therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow prescribed protocols
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases
• Accurately assess and position patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain and operate complex radiation therapy equipment, performing regular quality assurance checks
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other clinical professionals to ensure treatment plans are followed precisely
• Educate and support patients and families throughout treatment, addressing questions and concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulations for privacy, safety, and infection control
