Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) required
• Valid, active state licensure as applicable
• Prior experience in a clinical or hospital radiation therapy environment
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate and professional approach
• Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team
• Detail-oriented with strong technical proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable schedule; specific shifts to be discussed during interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
• Verify treatment parameters and conduct quality assurance checks prior to each session
• Provide patient education, answer patient and family questions, and support them throughout treatment
• Monitor and assess patients for treatment side effects and report concerns to the care team
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere diligently to all safety policies and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in client system switch overs as required, ensuring seamless continuation of patient care
