Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration in Radiation Therapy
• State licensure (if required)
• Recent clinical experience in the delivery of radiation therapy
• Knowledge of radiation safety and precise treatment protocols
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment with accuracy and safety
• Ensure correct patient positioning and immobilization for each session
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, promptly addressing any side effects or concerns
• Accurately document all treatment details and patient progress in accordance with facility protocols
• Uphold radiation safety procedures to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing support and education throughout the treatment process
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient care
