Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT)
• Valid state license as required for radiation therapy practice
• Prior experience with linear accelerators and radiation therapy equipment

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients following oncologist directives
• Accurately set up, calibrate, and operate radiation therapy equipment
• Educate patients about procedures and provide reassurance throughout treatment sessions
• Observe and monitor patient responses, reporting any side effects or issues to the care team
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
• Work collaboratively with physicians, dosimetrists, and nurses to ensure seamless workflow and optimal care
