Schedule:

  • 5x8-hour shifts per week
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Colorado
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering targeted radiation treatment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with the care team
  • Proficiency in operation of radiation equipment and adherence to stringent safety guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer precise radiation therapy to patients in accordance with oncologist orders
  • Accurately position patients and calibrate equipment for optimal treatment delivery
  • Monitor patient responses, providing ongoing support and communication throughout each session
  • Maintain detailed treatment records and participate in regular equipment checks
  • Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and nurses to ensure cohesive patient care
  • Maintain a safe environment by strictly following radiation safety standards and protocols
