Seeking a skilled professional to deliver quality patient care in a dynamic radiation therapy setting. This position offers a contract opportunity for 13 weeks, where your expertise in administering targeted radiation treatment will play a vital role in supporting patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts, five 8-hour shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current and unrestricted Colorado license for Radiation Therapy
- Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and healthcare staff for holistic care
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician directives
- Accurately position patients and operate linear accelerators and related equipment
- Monitor patient responses and adjust procedures to ensure safety and comfort
- Document treatments, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and address questions compassionately
- Participate in regular equipment checks, quality assurance, and safety protocols
