Travel Radiation Therapist - North Pole, AK

Schedule/Hours:

• Full time: Four 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Weekend shifts required only in emergencies
• On-call only for rare radiation emergencies (usually before or after regular shifts)
• Holiday coverage as needed when clinic is open

Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in radiation oncology
• ARRT certification with radiation therapy registry
• Proven ability to follow treatment protocols and operate advanced equipment
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Commitment to professional conduct, collaboration, and high-quality care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed and verify provider orders
• Operate simulators, treatment planning, and radiation equipment in line with departmental procedures
• Educate patients and families on their procedures and what to expect throughout treatment
• Exhibit professionalism in all interactions, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment
• Monitor, document, and report on patient responses and progress as needed
