Qualifications & Experience:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid state licensure as required
• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• Proven track record operating linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment
• Compassionate communication style with patients and their families
• Ability to coordinate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other clinical staff
• Strong organizational skills to manage patient schedules and documentation

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
• Perform daily equipment QA and maintain proper function of therapy machines
• Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after treatments
• Record precise patient information and respond swiftly to any unusual reactions or side effects
• Uphold rigorous radiation safety standards and protocols for patients and staff
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes and post-care guidelines
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on individualized care plans
