Qualifications:

• Certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Proven experience in radiation therapy procedures in a clinical setting
• Understanding of treatment planning and safety protocols
• Ability to operate linear accelerators and related equipment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving clinic needs
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists
• Prepare and position patients accurately using proper immobilization devices
• Operate, monitor, and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately in medical records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and team members regarding patient progress and any concerns
• Provide reassurance, education, and support to patients throughout their therapy
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
