Radiation Therapist in Petaluma, CA

Deliver advanced care and support to patients undergoing cancer treatments as a Radiation Therapist. In this vital position, you will play a key part in administering prescribed radiation therapy and ensuring patient comfort, accuracy, and safety throughout each session.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by oncologists, following all protocols and quality standards.
• Accurately position patients and operate sophisticated radiation therapy equipment.
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures and provide compassionate support.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient treatment records.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and other team members for optimal care planning.
• Observe and enforce all safety measures to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself.
• Participate in daily equipment checks and promptly report any operational concerns.

Desired Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid state licensure, as applicable.
• Prior experience as a radiation therapist in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledgeable in the use of linear accelerators and treatment planning systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
