Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Radiation Therapist licensure
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital radiation therapy setting preferred
• Proficiency with linear accelerators and treatment planning systems
• Compassionate communication skills for patient interaction
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely, following established protocols
• Assist with patient setup and precise positioning for each therapy session
• Operate radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of treatment procedures and patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses, and medical physicists as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on procedures, and provide reassurance throughout the treatment process
• Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and care
