Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Prepare and position patients for therapy sessions using immobilization devices and established protocols.
• Operate complex radiation equipment, perform quality assurance checks, and monitor equipment function.
• Maintain detailed, accurate treatment records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor patients during therapy, observe for any reactions, and provide compassionate, clear explanations to patients and families.
• Cooperate with physicians, physicists, nurses, and dosimetrists to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.
• Support continuous improvement by participating in training and staying current with evolving techniques.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as required by the facility.
• Demonstrated experience operating radiation therapy equipment, ideally within a hospital or outpatient oncology setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
