Radiation Therapist in Providence, RI

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and licensure as a Radiation Therapist.
• Hands-on experience utilizing MOSAIQ for oncology information management.
• Familiarity with MONICLE (Planning) systems.
• Proficiency with ELEKTA linear accelerators and associated technology.
• Strong interpersonal skills to support patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to safety protocols and accurate record-keeping.

Schedule/Hours:

• Preference for full-time scheduling; flexibility available for locums or temp to perm arrangements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans and physician directives.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including ELEKTA systems.
• Accurately document patient treatments and progress using MOSAIQ and related software.
• Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists for precise treatment planning, leveraging MONICLE for optimal results.
• Monitor patient responses and provide compassionate support throughout treatment courses.
• Adhere to established safety standards while ensuring comfort and privacy for all patients.
