Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program
• Current Washington State license in Radiation Therapy
• Solid grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Acute care experience and proficiency with radiation therapy techniques
• Experienced in medical imaging technologies such as CT scanners
• Exceptional communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer precise radiation treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols
• Collaborate closely with oncologists and other healthcare professionals on treatment planning
• Prepare and maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records, tracking progress and side effects
• Utilize advanced imaging technologies to support treatment planning
• Educate and support patients throughout the therapy process, ensuring understanding and easing concerns
• Monitor for adverse reactions or complications during treatment sessions
