Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT required)
• Current state licensure as required by regulations
• Proficiency in operating linear accelerators and treatment planning systems
• Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols, equipment calibration, and quality assurance processes
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain procedures and interact sensitively with patients and their families
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Previous experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to ensure effective and safe patient care plans
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with departmental protocols
• Monitor patient reactions and report any unexpected events or side effects promptly
• Maintain accurate treatment records and support ongoing patient assessment
• Uphold strict safety standards and infection control measures at all times
• Provide reassurance and guidance to patients before, during, and after treatment sessions
