Travel Radiation Therapist in Salisbury, NC

As a traveler, you'll collaborate with a supportive team, including an on-site Chief Radiation Therapist, in a department that welcomes innovation and learning. Adding this assignment to your experience will expand your resume and introduce you to advanced technologies, such as Varian TrueBeam linacs and leading EMR systems like EPIC and Aria.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
• No weekends or call
• 75% holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

• ARRT (T) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Open to first-time travelers
• Experience in ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy required
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population with all cancer diagnoses

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, safe, and accurate radiation therapy treatments
• Utilize advanced clinical platforms (IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatments)
• Coordinate patient care and maintain thorough documentation in EPIC/Aria
• Communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team
• Support RT students rotating through the department
• Adhere to safety protocols and departmental standards
