Schedule

• Day shifts: 5x8-hour (08:00 – 17:00)

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)

Desired Experience & Skills

• Previous experience performing radiation therapy and simulation procedures
• Strong critical thinking and independent judgment
• Ability to educate and reassure patients and their support groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate complex radiation therapy equipment, documenting accurate readings and coordinating any necessary repairs
• Prepare for and assist with radiation therapy simulation procedures
• Provide clear, compassionate patient education and support
• Mentor and support students and newly hired therapists
• Handle clerical duties, including EHR management, scheduling, and supply inventory
• Uphold stringent safety protocols, including equipment disinfection and radiation exposure minimization
