Schedule
- Day shifts: 5x8-hour (08:00 – 17:00)
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
Desired Experience & Skills
- Previous experience performing radiation therapy and simulation procedures
- Strong critical thinking and independent judgment
- Ability to educate and reassure patients and their support groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate complex radiation therapy equipment, documenting accurate readings and coordinating any necessary repairs
- Prepare for and assist with radiation therapy simulation procedures
- Provide clear, compassionate patient education and support
- Mentor and support students and newly hired therapists
- Handle clerical duties, including EHR management, scheduling, and supply inventory
- Uphold stringent safety protocols, including equipment disinfection and radiation exposure minimization
