We are seeking a Radiation Therapist for an opportunity in Santa Cruz, California.

Requirements:

ARRT (T)
BLS Certification
Active California State License

Schedule:

Day Shift, 5x8s
Typical hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Shift may begin anytime between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM, so candidates must be flexible.

Job Description:
The Radiation Therapist will competently perform routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with the treatment plan developed by the physician. The ideal candidate will work independently while exercising sound judgment and strong clinical skills to safely and accurately deliver treatments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring patients throughout treatment, communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The therapist will follow all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as department policies and procedures to maintain patient privacy and safety. Additional responsibilities may include performing specialized procedures and assisting with the orientation and training of new staff.
