Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
  • Active state license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and compassionate patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team

Schedule:

  • Full-time contract hours
  • Day shifts (exact schedule details to be discussed in interview)

Responsibilities:

  • Administer accurate radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions
  • Perform patient assessments and monitor response and side effects during therapy
  • Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Educate patients and their families on procedures, answer questions, and provide emotional support
  • Collaborate with dosimetrists, physicists, and other clinical professionals to ensure high-quality care
  • Adhere to infection control measures and all policies relevant to the department
