Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist (as per state regulations)
• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• ARRT certification (Therapy)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably in a hospital or oncology center
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists
• Accurately operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring optimal comfort and care
• Document treatments, calibrations, and patient interactions in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive cancer care
