Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours (exact schedule to be discussed during the interview process)

Qualifications:

• Registered Radiation Therapist, certified RT(T) through ARRT
• Valid CT State radiographer license
• At least 1.5 years of professional experience as a Radiation Therapist (2+ years preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Varian linear accelerators equipped with on-board imaging
• Familiarity with simulation procedures and immobilization techniques
• Preferred: Proficiency with Varian Aria and Align RT surface motion technology

Role Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments following prescribed protocols and safety measures
• Operate Varian linear accelerator and on-board imaging systems accurately and efficiently
• Perform patient simulation and assist with the creation and implementation of immobilization plans
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the treatment process
• Collaborate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and oncologists to deliver optimal patient care
• Document treatment details and maintain comprehensive patient records in the information system
