Radiation Therapist - Silt, CO

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Monday to Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Active Colorado license for Radiation Therapy (or eligibility)
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of precise radiation treatment planning and administration
• Commitment to ensuring safety and comfort for all patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately interpret and implement physician treatment plans using advanced radiation equipment
• Provide safe, empathetic, and effective patient care throughout the course of radiation treatment
• Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and support resources
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of treatments and any patient responses or concerns
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, dosimetrists, and physicists to optimize treatment outcomes
• Uphold strict protocols for infection control and equipment operation, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff
• Contribute to ongoing quality assurance and continuous improvement processes within the department
