Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science with a certificate from an accredited program
- Registered or registry-eligible by ARRT, with certification required within one year of graduation
- Valid Massachusetts State license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- A minimum of two years’ experience in radiation therapy
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist
- Operate specialized treatment equipment in line with best practices
- Educate and support patients throughout the therapy process, ensuring safety and comfort
- Maintain meticulous treatment documentation and adhere to departmental protocols
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary oncology team
