This assignment provides the unique chance to further develop your expertise as a radiation therapist in a nationally recognized, innovative hospital environment. Here, you’ll work alongside respected leaders devoted to high-quality, patient-centric care. You’ll gain invaluable experience with advanced technology such as Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and a cutting-edge Radixact unit installed in August 2024, as well as the Mosiaq and Epic EMR systems. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your resume and develop fresh perspectives by collaborating within interdisciplinary teams at a large medical center recognized for its exceptional safety standards and certifications.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts: 5x8, typically 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00, depending on patient flow
  • No weekends or call
  • 36 guaranteed hours/week
  • 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

  • ARRT and RRA certification required; BLS (AHA) required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent hospital experience in radiation therapy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Solid experience with linear accelerator (LINAC) patient setup and imaging
  • Familiarity with Elekta equipment preferred
  • Comfortable learning new workflows on-the-job

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments
  • Operate advanced radiation therapy devices and imaging systems
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellence in both routine and complex patient care
