Key Qualifications:
- Clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist/Physicist required
- Thorough knowledge of therapeutic radiation equipment, including accelerators and brachytherapy devices
- Understanding of regulatory requirements specific to radiation therapy
- Strong collaboration, QA, and clinical workflow skills
- Ability to support development and monitoring of treatment guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and implement policies for optimal function and safety of therapeutic equipment
- Ensure all daily output and quality assurance checks on radiation-producing equipment
- Oversee equipment output checks, simulation, and associated devices
- Lead clinical QA on equipment, including acceptance testing, commissioning, and calibrations
- Supervise technical aspects of dosimetrists and therapists
- Participate in IOeRT treatments and related QA
- Support dosimetry in planning for External Beam, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Brachytherapy
- Collaborate on the preparation of optimal treatment plans
- Plan and monitor High Dose Rate Treatments
