Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
- 40 guaranteed hours weekly
- No Saturday shifts
- Floating to other Radiation Oncology locations may be required
- Shift may vary as needed by the department
Key Qualifications:
- Active NYS Radiologic Technologists Therapy License
- ARRT T and BLS certification
- Experience with adult acute care and custom molds/shields
- Varian or Ethos machine experience highly desired
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Dependable, adaptable, able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- EPIC experience required
Primary Duties:
- Administer external beam radiation and IMRT
- Perform tumor localization, dose calculations, and radiation safety protocols
- Utilize advanced imaging modalities (CBCT/kV/mV), custom molds/shields, and compensation filters
- Ensure patient safety with isolation precautions and PPE
- Participate in rapid response or code teams as needed
- Provide compassionate patient care in cancer services/oncology settings
