Schedule:

  • Full-time, in-person position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments according to established protocols and physician prescriptions
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals on individualized patient treatment plans
  • Prepare and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient records, treatment progress, and any adverse effects
  • Operate advanced medical imaging equipment—including CT scanners—to assist with treatment planning
  • Educate patients and families about the steps and expectations of radiation therapy, responding to any questions or concerns
  • Carefully monitor patients for side effects or complications during therapy sessions
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulations regarding radiation exposure
  • Participate in equipment maintenance and quality assurance procedures

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program
  • Washington State license in Radiation Therapy required
  • In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Proven experience with radiation therapy techniques and relevant technology
  • Proficient in the use of medical imaging systems, especially CT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork
  • Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in dynamic clinical settings
