Radiation Therapist | Rochester, Michigan

Radiation therapists play an essential role in patient care, delivering targeted treatment and supporting individuals undergoing therapy. This contract opportunity requires a detail-oriented professional skilled in radiation therapy techniques and patient interaction, offering a 13-week assignment with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Five days per week
• No on-call hours
• No weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (T) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiation therapist
• Proficiency with Varian and Aria preferred
• Experience working with True Beam systems strongly desired
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients using advanced equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and fellow therapists to ensure precise and safe care
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, reporting any concerns promptly
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate treatment records in Aria EMR
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and education of patients before, during, and after therapy
• Assist with equipment checks and quality assurance protocols as needed
