Radiation Therapist in Rochester, MI

Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Radiation Therapists to join a dynamic radiation oncology team for a 14-week contract assignment. As a key contributor, you'll deliver the highest level of patient care alongside dedicated colleagues, utilizing advanced radiation therapy technologies in a collaborative environment.

Key Requirements:

• Active ARRT (T) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Proficiency using Varian equipment and Aria software strongly preferred
• Experience with True Beam systems highly valued
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• 5 days per week
• No on-call shifts or weekend coverage required

Principle Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments, ensuring the utmost safety and precision
• Collaborate with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Evaluate and monitor patient conditions before, during, and after treatments
• Document and maintain accurate patient records utilizing Aria software
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of Varian True Beam equipment
• Communicate clearly with patients, providing education and emotional support throughout the course of care

$2,580 - $2,720/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
