Seeking an experienced professional to provide advanced care in a clinic-based radiation oncology environment. This contract role requires a dynamic, self-sufficient individual skilled in both clinical knowledge and patient-centered care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract assignment
  • Clinic is closed on certain holidays

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in radiation therapy, delivering safe and accurate treatments
  • Prior experience in mid-size to large hospital or clinical settings preferred
  • Strong multitasking ability, with proven skills working independently in a high-volume environment
  • Experience managing 64-68 patient treatments per day across two treatment units

Required Certifications:

  • Radiation Therapy certification from ARRT
  • Radiation control certification from IEMA

Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily therapeutic radiation treatments with precision and compassion
  • Accurately document treatment processes, patient responses, and any side effects
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintain compliance with all clinical safety standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment for optimal performance
  • Support patients and families with education, answering questions to help them understand the treatment process
  • Effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment
