Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a Radiation Therapist

• Previous experience operating medical linear accelerators and associated technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed courses of radiation therapy to patients in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Accurately set up patients for daily treatments using precise measurement and positioning techniques
• Regularly monitor patient responses, providing support and reporting any changes to the medical team
• Maintain and calibrate radiation equipment, ensuring safe and effective operation
• Document all treatments and patient interactions accurately in medical records
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and dosimetrists to deliver coordinated oncology care
• Demonstrate empathetic support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process
• Adhere strictly to institutional and regulatory safety guidelines regarding radiation exposure and infection control
