Key Requirements:

  • Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience in administering radiation therapy to patients
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and protocol compliance
  • Ability to interpret physician instructions and deliver treatments with accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prescribed doses of radiation using specialized equipment as part of patient-specific treatment plans
  • Accurately follow physician directives and dosimetry instructions
  • Position patients correctly to ensure optimal treatment and safety
  • Maintain comprehensive treatment records and document patient progress
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide supportive care throughout therapy
  • Uphold all safety and infection control protocols in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Engage with multidisciplinary team members to plan and optimize care delivery
