Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Current and valid state license (or eligibility)
- Solid understanding of treatment planning, radiation safety, and quality assurance protocols
- Experience operating advanced linear accelerators and treatment planning systems preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating with patients, physicians, and clinical staff
- Ability to maintain meticulous documentation and uphold safety standards
Schedule:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Standard weekday daytime shifts; minimal weekend/holiday requirements
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise radiation treatment as prescribed by physicians, ensuring comfort and compassion for every patient
- Accurately calibrate, operate, and monitor complex therapeutic equipment
- Collaborate with dosimetrists, physicists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to formulate and execute treatment plans
- Uphold safety protocols for both patients and colleagues and provide ongoing education regarding radiation exposure
- Maintain clear, accurate patient records and contribute to quality assurance program initiatives
