Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Review prescriptions and diagnoses, ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare and operate all necessary treatment and safety equipment.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, patients, and families.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records, reports, and patient files.
- Assist with tumor localization and dosimetry procedures as needed.
- Uphold organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active New Mexico state license (or ability to obtain before start).
- Two to five years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience with IMRT and LDR/HDR techniques highly desirable.
